# Kann die Großschreibung die Gültigkeit einer Bitcoin-Adresse beeinflussen?

Ja, die Großschreibung kann die Gültigkeit einer Bitcoin-Adresse beeinflussen, je nachdem, um welchen Adresstyp es sich handelt.

Bei Legacy Bitcoin Adressen (die mit einer 1 oder 3 beginnen) ist die Großschreibung von Bedeutung und muss korrekt eingegeben werden, damit die Transaktion korrekt abgewickelt werden kann.
