# ¿Es Stablesats compatible con el sistema bancario tradicional?

Hasta la fecha, Stablesats solo es compatible con la red de pagos de Bitcoin y no se integra directamente con los sistemas bancarios tradicionales. Esto se debe a que Stablesats está diseñado para operar dentro de la Lightning Network, un protocolo de capa 2 construido sobre la cadena de bloques de Bitcoin. Como resultado, los usuarios de Stablesats pueden disfrutar de los beneficios de mantener saldos equivalentes al dólar en su billetera Lightning sin depender de stablecoins o integración directa con moneda fiduciaria.
